At Calderon Textiles, the marketing and sales team noticed that there were countless bar mops in our offering that lacked strategic branding and differentiation in purpose. The sales team had a hard time explaining to customers the difference between bar mops due to the insufficient marketing material describing them. I came up with the idea of creating a hierarchy system of branding to help differentiate the bar mops. The system also came with a complimentary guide to help the sales team guide the customers to the correct bar mop for their target market, and thus the BarMop Guide was born.

Daily Defense is a brand that was created with a very tight deadline due to the COVID-19 pandemic, thus forcing us to get creative with the branding and marketing of the product in a timely manner. I was essentially given one day to come up with a name, logo, and packaging design for the product in order to get ahead of other companies and ensure the fastest possible shipping time for our clients. The name conveys the message that Daily Defense is a disposable product that customers are to use as a shield against germs and infectious microbes. I tried to be as intentional as possible with my choices in the logo design. Even amongst the short deadline, I feel that my branding portrays a strong and effective message.
Past the initial rush, I continued to grow the campaign and expand marketing efforts beyond just branding to product info sheets, email campaigns, and print and online advertisements. We also expanded the product line to include disposable gloves as well, instead of just the initial face masks.
